Lowers. He married Mary Ann Sheets, daughter of John William Sheets and Susan Elizabeth Congrove, on Jan. 21, 1830. Mary Ann was born in 1815 in Wood Co., VA. Her parents were both from Pennsylvania. Her grandfather, John Sheets, was born c. 1753 in Lancaster Co., PA. If these are the people you are talking about, and you truly suspect a connection, I have more information I can share.
