I am seeking information on Mahala Thorn who married Elijah Petty Dye in 1835 Wood Co. Her father was John Thorn b abt 1782 in Prince William Co Va. He is a brother to my Great grandfather and would like to know more about his family. Evidently the Dyes and John Thorn all left Prince WIlliam Co abt the same time or John followed the family there abt 1816 or so. I would like to know when he died and where he is buried. Also would like to share info with anyone researching this family. It also apprears that John Thorn was living with Elijah and Mahala Dye in the 1850 Wood census. Also there were two females- Lucinda Toby 32 and Mary Toby 41 living in the house. I am wondering if their names should have been Thorn or maybe they both had married brothers named Toby. I believe them to be John's other daughters from the 1820 and 1830 census. The ages are right for his other daughters. Any help would be appreciated. Elmer Thorn Missouri
