Hi, I am new to the list. I am looking for information on a family that lived in Parkersburg around the 1920-1930's. The head of the house hold was Silas L. Wood. I have found that Silas was a Steamboat engineer on the Str. Tacoma. The last known whereabouts of the family was in an obit for his wife, Luella, brother Jacob Thomas. It refered to them as being in Parkersburg. This was in 1934. Silas worked with , and was closed to Jesse P. Hughes , the captain of the Tacoma. I would like to know if anyone of the area has information on him and his wife Luella, son Robert E.L. Wood. He had a daughter , Katy Woods Thomas also. Any and all info would be appreciated. Also could someone tell me what township/district Parkersburg is in . I have tried to find out and here in Ohio I have not found anything.
