    2. Pam Sulzer
    3. Seeking information on the family of FERDINAND TURNER (b. ca. 1793 VA), who married HANNAH HARRIS in Wood Co., WV in 1813. The family was in Wood Co. in the 1820 census, then in Brown Co., OH for 1830, Dearborn Co., IN for 1840 and 1850, and lastly in Hamilton Co., OH in 1860. I lost track of them after that. Known children are: HANNAH (b.1829), SOPHIA (b. 1832), WILLIAM (b. 1837), MINERVA (b. 1839) and CAROLINE (b. 1849). Ferdinand's father was probably THOMAS TURNER (b.c. 1770 VA). His mother was ANN ??. Also a possible brother JAMES TURNER (b. 1790s). Thanks, Pam --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? SBC Yahoo! DSL - Now only $29.95 per month!

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Founds, Baker, Barton, Heiney, Spawn, Adams, Ferrel Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/DFC.2ACI/2296 Message Board Post: I am looking for information on Mary Jane Baker Founds (my g grandmother) and her family. She was born to Zenemba Baker and Elizabeth Ann Spawn on June 7, 1868. She married Zachariah Taylor Founds of Marshall Co., VA on July 3, 1881 in Meigs Co., Ohio. Her father was born in 1834 in Washington Co., Ohio, and her mother in April 1840 somewhere in VA (WV?). I have information on her children and her mother's family, but very little on Zenemba. I know his parents were John and Sarah Baker and he had 2 brothers and a sister ( Linly, Sylvanius, and Lucinda) but have nothing on them either other than appr. birth dates and places. Linly was born in NY and the others in Ohio along the river. My father tells me that Mary Jane was full Irish, but has little other information about her ancestors. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who might have information on them.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/DFC.2ACI/2295.1.2.1 Message Board Post: Sorry Donna, the Wood County Atlas, from which I got the information already cited, shows a cemetery at the corner of Williamstown farthest from the river, but it is not named. I did a search for Wood County Cemeteries, and there is a Williamstown Cemetery, but not a Williams Cemetery. There is no one with the surname Williams buried in the Williamstown Cemetery. It is quite common for cemeteries to be known by several different names. I suggest you Google for cemeteries in Wood County. You would be more likely to find something of interest to you, since you might recognize something that I would not. Good luck.

Perhaps you've already received some answers. Sorry, can't really help. I still have Joshua Gambrill marrying Ann Marriott (daughter of John Marriott and Sarah Acton) in 1680. Joshua and Ann had one child born circa 1705, Augustine Gambrill. Augustine produced (8) children. As I mentioned before maybe you've got info. that could correct my source, I'd be interested. The only Mary I see nearest the time frame was a William Gambrill marrying a Mary probably sometime after 1750. One of their children was Mary (no middle name or birth/death date. Name John Marlow never appears. Hope this late info. is of some use. all the best, Bob
