Your gg grandfather Bryant had to be Bryant Allison, son of Col. John Morgan Johnson, who was, supposedly, the son of Bryant and his first wife, Sara. Bryant Allison's son was George Bryant. My g grandfather Bryant Ellis was the son of Bryant and Sarah, What makes it so confusing is that Bryant Allison and Bryant Ellis were both born in 1844. I have heard rumors that Sarah was a "native american". If she was, maybe her descendants didn't want anybody to know it. Not that I have anything, at all, against it, but back in those days, "indians" were not very well liked by the "white" man. My gg grandfather, Bryant Ellis Johnson's death certificate says that his parents were unknown. I would like to know how you are related to Bryant and Sarah.
