Wirt County Journal March 31, 1999 Obituaries Patty J. Bibbee Patty J. Bibbee, 64, of Parkersburg, died March 25 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born in Moundsville, a daughter of the late Robert White and Nellie Virginia Bosley White Smith. She enjoyed bingo and country music. She was a member of the Travis Tritt Fan Club. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Charles Bibbee; two sons, Charles "Chuck" Bibbee Jr. of Columbus and Michael Bibbee of Elizabeth; two daughters, Barbara Hodgson of Williamstown and Sue Ellen Downs of Logan, Ohio; six grandchildren, Buddy Hodgson, Jason Hodgson, Bobby Joe Bibbee, Nicki Bibbee, Megan Downs and Maggie Downs; one great-granddaughter, Faith Marie Hodgson; one sister, Mona Woods; and family friend, Mike Mace. She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert White; and two sisters, Dolly White and Mary Lou Jones. Services were held March 28 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, south Parkersburg, with the Rev. Terry Holley officiating. Burial was in Evergreen North Cemetery. Dale Cunningham Jr. Dale "Gene" Cunningham Jr., 52, of Elizabeth, died March 28 at Parkersburg. He was born Sept. 6, 1946, at Zanesville, Ohio, a son of Irene Lanham Cunningham of Elizabeth and the late Alvie Dale Cunningham. He was a former employee of Green Pak of Parkersburg and attended the Big Island Run Methodist Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Dale Cunningham Jr. II and Billy Gene Cunningham, both of Elizabeth; one daughter, Connie Jean Cunningham of Elizabeth; four brothers, Jim Cunningham, Alvie Cunningham and Elvis Cunningham, all of Elizabeth, and Danny Cunningham of Zanesville, Ohio; five sisters, Alberta Grace Gandarilla, Shirley Cunningham and Cinda Yoak, all of Elizabeth, Holly Conley of Parkersburg and Brenda Brown of Zanesville, Ohio; one half brother, Jason Deems of Zanesville; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Dianne Hickman, Evelyn Cunningham and Linda Cunningham. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today (March 31) at the Busch Funeral Home, Elizabeth, with the Rev. David Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery, Elizabeth. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. Glen Dale McMullen Glen Dale McMullen, 90, of Parkersburg, died March 24 at his residence. He was born at Willow Island, a son of the late Ezra and Addie Pitman McMullen. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired from the Pure Oil Company after 25 years as a truck driver. He attended the Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lena Hart McMullen; two sons, Donald L. McMullen of Newark and Gary D. McMullen of Parkersburg; two daughters, Loretta M. Flowers of Belpre and Mary Schreckengost of Parkersburg; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mae Oldfield of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Evelyn McMullen; one son, Robert McMullen; two brothers; and one sister. Services were held March 27 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Eddie Cooper officiating. Burial was in McMullen Cemetery, Borland Springs. Neva E. Norman Neva E. Norman, 81, of Belrock Ave., Belpre, died March 21 at Worthington Manor Care Center. She was born May 12, 1917, in Elizabeth, a daughter of the late Cecil and Georgia Coe Murray. She worked at American Viscose and was a cook in many area restaurants and schools. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Garner and Janet Norman of Parkersburg; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Jim Moorehead of Ocoee, Fla., and Bonnie and Doug Schaad of Parkersburg; three brothers, John Murray and Herbert Murray, both of Parkersburg, and Charles Murray of Elizabeth; three sisters, Dorothy Cheuvront of Leachtown, Mary Daugherty and Loraine Roberts, both of Elizabeth; seven grandchildren, April Schaad Knight. Lori Ann Schaad. Sheila Norman, Bill Norman, Joe Moorehead, Jamie Moorehead and Jenny Moorehead; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Norman; and one brother, William Murray. Services were held March 24 at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Paul Morton officiating Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery. A. Denzil Snyder A. Denzil Snyder, 63, of Urichsville Ohio, died March 27 at his home following a two-month illness. He was born at Creston, a son of the late Lindsey Snyder and Geraldine Hodgen Snyder of Dundee, Ohio. He was a metal finisher at Products Company, Orrville, Ohio. He was a resident of Dundee for 20 years and Uhrichsville resident the past nine months. He is survived by his mother; his companion, Velma C. Hoover of the home; three sons, Duane Snyder of Uhrichsville, Darrell Snyder of Dundee Ohio, and Denzil Hoover of the home; one daughter, Debbie Brinley of Oceanside, Calif.; two brothers, Jerry Snyder of Palestine and Alton Snyder of Dalton, Ohio; two sisters, Donna Wickham of Zanesville, Ohio, and Karen Shimer of Clinton, Ohio; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held March 29 at Uhrich-Hostettler Funeral Home, Uhrichsville, Ohio, with Pastor Tim McPherson officiating. Graveside services were held March 30 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, (Groundhog) Creston, with Gladson Grim officiating. Arrangements were handled by Matheny Pomroy Funeral Home, Elizabeth.
