Jennifer, The ones that I remember were in Guernsey County, OH. I am a Buchanan, but have not seen any relatives on my father's side for years. The ones I do remember have all passed away. Jacob James Newman Buchanan was my ggrandfather. He was originally from WV. He moved all over and then settled in Guernsey county to farm about 1950. In an article in the newspaper he spoke of his grandfather as being a Justice of the Peace near West Union, West Virginia. He practiced until he passed away at 106 and I believe(but not sure) that his name was William. Also I believe that Jacob's father's name was Elias. (again, I am not sure) I am searching for any and all clues. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. KIM
