I don't really know how long Wirt County has had a newspaper. I posted an article a while back from another mail list that indicated that Wirt County might have had a newspaper in 1867. If I had to guess, I would say 1920 is about the time that Woody Wilson's dad started publishing the paper. But if you quote me, I will deny everything!
