Thanks Mark. I created this list from Library of Congress serial cataloguing records. Most of the newspapers listed here are also listed in Hardesty's. I believe that many of these newspapers can be found at WVU. I have not been able to confirm that, but many of the cataloguing records originated at WVU. Please feel free to send me corrections. One thing I did not do was list every publisher change. The earlier newspapers were changing hands every 6 months and keeping track of the changes became overwhelming. I will be glad to enter any updated info you have on these.
