Hello, fellow listers! I'm looking for some help with JASPER JOHNSON, who is in the 1850 Wirt Co., WV census with his parents: 1850 Wirt Co.,WV Census Fielding JOHNSON 32 Farmer VA Nancy JOHNSON 27 VA Jasper Johnson 9 VA I cannot find Jasper Johnson anywhere in the 1860 WV census or in the 1870 Lewis Co.,WV census where his mother appears as a widow with three other children, Margaret (my great grandmother), Sally, and Amanda. Since I can't find Jasper after the 1850 census, I'm wondering if he could have died. Does anyone have access to cemetery or death records in either Wirt or Braxton county?? I'm including Braxton because Fielding and Nancy appear to have been married there in 1839 and Nancy married again there in 1864. She may also have been born there.
