Wirt County Journal November 17, 1999 Obituaries Glendol Tallman Glendol R. Tallman, 63, of Looneyville, died Nov. 10 in Charleston. He is survived by his wife, Ella; five daughters, Lena of Elizabeth, Tena, Tammy and Gina, all of Linden, and Cammie of Elkview; one son, Glendol Jr. of Linden; four sisters; four brothers; and 15 grandchildren. Services were held Nov. 13 at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial was in Clover Cemetery near Spencer. Daisey H. Wilson Daisey H. Wilson, 95, formerly of Pettyville, died Nov. 8 at the Willows Nursing Home. She was born in Wirt County, a daughter, of the late William N. and Pheodocia Leep Higgins. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Pettyville Garden Club and the Pettyville United Methodist Church, where she belonged to the United Methodist Women's Club. She is survived by two sons, William G. "Bill" Wilson and wife Eva of Pettyville and Donald D. "Don" Wilson and wife Zelma of Parkersburg; six grandchildren, Steve Wilson of Parkersburg, Donald G. Wilson of Winchester, Ky., Daniel Wilson of Philadelphia, Pa., Dick Wilson of Bellingham, Wash., David Wilson of Morgantown and Becky Casto of Alexander, Ohio; 10 great-grandchildren; and one brother, the Rev. Ezra Higgins of Lubeck. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paden D. Wilson; one son, Sargeant E. Wilson; one brother, Paul Higgins; and one sister, Mildred Dooley. Services were held Nov. 10 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, south Parkersburg, with Pastor Bob Watkins and the Rev. James Arbogast officiating. Burial was in the K of P Cemetery, Elizabeth.
