Mitchell. Our family records only mention him as moving to Burning Springs, WVA after the Civil War. His sister is a direct ancestor of mine, her name eliza Jane Mitchell bingham, moved to Kansas after the war. We can find no records of the family before the Civil War, even though they reportedly had a plantation in Roanoke County, VA., supposedly destroyed in war. Does anybody know of him?
