    3. Here's my take on purple flowers: I haven't been along the road in Wirt in a while, but I'd guess that the purple flowers may be spiderwort. (That would be its common name, but I'll be darned if I know its scientific name.) Grab a landscaping book and check it out. That flower is often planted in graveyards, too.
