From the Preston County marriage register, he is listed as having been born in Wirt County. His tombstone lists 1848 as his year of birth, but Preston County death records indicate he was born on 14 Jul 1849. Indications are that he moved to Preston County sometime after the 1870 Census. I would appreciate any information on his parents, etc. Thanks in advance for your help.
