Searching for the parents of John MOORE b. abt. 1815.  Married Mary BARNHOUSE, dau/o George and Susannah PITMAN BARNHOUSE Sept. 10, 1815 in Randolph Co., WV.  John and Mary had the following children:  1) Julia Ann b. 1837 m. Mordicah Linchorne MORRIS May 2, 1887 in Roane Co., WV; 2) Jonathan b. Mar. 18, 1838 m. Mary BRANNON, dau/o Wm. A. and Catherine KING BRANNON Dec. 20, 1857 in Calhoun Co., WV; 3) Jahue b. 1840 d. Oct. 1862 m. Virginia FEAGANS Jan. 14, 1861; 4) Emily b. Sept. 1, 1841 d. Aug. 3, 1892 m. Daniel STARCHER Jan. 27, 1859 in Calhoun Co., WV; 5) Samuel J. b. Sept. 9, 1843 d. Mar. 22, 1919 m. Mary Jane HELMICK WIBLIN JARVIS July 22, 1867, second marriage to Minerva MCCALLISTER, a widow, Aug. 8, 1900 in Putnam Co., WV; 6) Elizabeth Jane b. Jan. 1847 d. Dec. 27, 1903 m. Jonas Benjamin WEBB July 23, 1867 in Calhoun Co., WV.  Sometime after 1836 John and Mary moved to Ohio along with Daniel HELMS and his wife, Deborah BARNHOUSE, who was sister to Mary.  In 1847, John purchased land in Tyler Co., WV.  John and his family appear on the Tyler Co., WV 1850 census.  John died sometime between 1850 and 1854 because Mary remarried in 1854 to Wm.
