I have an article from the Webster Echo, Sept. 1976 on the Cornelius Jerry COOL family by Berlin Chapman that says he was the son of John O. COOL, a confederate soldier killed in the war... I also have a copy of "The Tragedy of Walter Cool" by Ronald Hardway that says he was a son of John C. COOL which I believe would make him a nephew of John O... Can anyone help with this?
