This is to introduce my wife, Mary Hamrick and I, Dan Hamrick, to the Webster County list. We also have recruited Mary's brother, Thamer Dodrill, of Ashland, KY. Mary and I have a fairly large collection of genealogical material on the early families of Webster, Randolph and Braxton counties including the Hamricks, Gregorys, Dodrills, Rigglemans, Millers, Chapmans, Cogars and Mollohans ‹ more on some than others. We will solicit information from time to time, and we will be happy to help with that which we have. Mary and I were married last Oct. 17, 1998, at the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church near Bergoo. Her first husband, Dale Griffey, died in 1995 of a brain tumor. She is the former Mary Jane Dodrill, daughter of Willard and Esta Cowger Dodrill of Point Mountain. Her siblings, all older, were: Dudley, Kate, Thamer and Harry. I am a descendant of David and Elizabeth Miller Hamrick, related to the Heveners through Margaret Daff Hevener Hamrick and to the Rigglemans through Lewis and Sarah Knapp Riggleman.
