I have been trying to research grand parents and great grandparents and have turned up empty handed on all the other rootsweb I have subscribed to. Seems no information can be located. The information I am posting is from the obituaries of my grandparents. This is the only information I have knowledge of. I have an Aunt who is living out of 7 children my grandparents had. She is 73 and in very poor health and can not be of assistance in the search. Names and info are as follows: COUNTRY USA great grandfather WILLIAMS John married to Susan McCLOUD >From a Gilmer County Marriage Record there is a James H.WILLIAMS 22 of BraxtonWV married Susan McCLOUD 22 of Highland CO. VA on July 27, 1884 I don't know if that is a match to my grandparents or not. son of John Williams and Susan McCLOUD) WILLIAMS Perry Daniel Born June 15 1892 (obituary states Glenville,WV Gilmer CO.) Died on Oct. 20, 1962 (Living in (Alma) Tyler CO WV at the time) served in France for 2 years during World War 1 Married Laura Helen GADD (no dates or place of marriage) GADD Laura Helen daughter of THOMAS AND ALLIE (could have been a nickname for AIleen, Alice, Alica, Alberts or Almenia)GADD born Oct. 24, 1893 (obituary states Greenbrier CO.WV but no info at all there) Died on Sept. 12, 1982. (lived in Middlebourne , WV (Tyler Co. at the time) They had 7 children Perry P., AdA Mae, James(known as Jim), Eugene(known as Gene), Robert (known as Bob),Juanita, and John.
