(John in son's obituary) WILLIAMS, b. 1862, Braxton, Gilmer Co.WV; m. July 27, 1884, Gilmer Co.,WV to Susan McCLOUD, b. 1862, Highland Co. VA Their children: (could possibly be more) Wade, settled in Richwood, WV (I believe) Lula, married __?__ TRENT, still living in 1962 in LeRyder LA (According to brother's obituary). Perry Daniel (My grandfather, see below) PERRY DANIEL WILLIAMS, b. June 15, 1892, Glenville, Gilmer Co., WV; m. (date unknown) to LAURA HELEN GADD, b. 24 October 1893,Greenbrier Co., WV; d. 12 September 1982. Perry served 2 years in France during World War I. He died 20 October 1962 and both he and Laura are buried in Hartley Cemetery, Brohard, Wirt Co., WV. Laura's parents were THOMAS & ALLIE GADD Allie could have been a nickname for any of the following names: Aileen, Alice, Alica, Alberta or Almena. Laura had one sister that I can recall. Her name was Lenia married to Louis or Lewis WIlliams ? living somewhere in PA. area in the mid 1960s to early 1970s. A brother named HOMER GADD location last known in Columbus Ohio area married to Alma ??? Perry & Laura Williams raised their 7 children in the Hartley, MacFarlan, Lucille and Elizabeth sections of Wirt Co., WV. They lived their last years in Middlebourne and Alma, Tyler Co., WV.
