    3. From: The Webster Echo, March 28, 1902. WAINVILLE. T. W. McElwain spent Sunday at Camden. Ellis Weese is hauling staves for Smith & Co. Wain Hoover and Sam Goff, of Cowen, were here Sunday. Andy Green, Jr., has moved from Sims run to Keystone. Ham Morrison, of Hardwood, has moved into the Kessler property here. F. M. Weese is going to erect a grist mill at the falls below his dwelling house. Some preparations are being made by the farmers of this locality for putting out crops. Miss Alice Dodrill, of Birch River, is visiting her sister, Mrs. L. M. Green, at this place. Duby Flint, of this place who was arrested at Cowen a few nights ago for exhibiting his skill as a dancer, at a literary, out-witted the police and excaped. The first bicycle accident of the season occurred last Sunday on Tin Can Alley. The victim of the wreck was Beri Woods, and the cause was an old poor cow. The machinery for drilling some test oil wells is here and work will begin in a few days. Considerable excitement prevails, as all believe the greasy fluid is here and will be developed. EB.
