John Berry Know all men by these present that we Isaac Gregory & robert Given of Augusta are held firmly bound unto his Excellency Beverly Randolph, Equire Governor of Virginia. and his successors in the sum of Fifty pounds current money. To the payment where of well and truly to the way we do bind ourselves, our heirs, cares and admtrs. jointly & severly firmly by these presents. sealed with our Seals this day in March 1790 in the 14 th? year of the Commonwealth. The condition of the above oblightation is such that where as there is a marriage shortly intended to be solemized between the above bound Isaac Gregory and Sarah Given of Augusta. If therefore there shall be no lawful course to obstruct the said marriage, then this obligation is to be void otherwise to remain in full force.
