Hi Faith, Don`t know if you had a response to your question on Sandrum or not but you are probably talking about Sand Run, a small place near Bolair about half way between the Glade and Forklick districts. At one time they had a school and P.O.. I think there is still a church there....One of my relatives in the census also has the location as Sand Run P.O. One possible reason for that is in Ronald Hardways book on Webster where he mentions that in 1827, residents of Upper Glade and Fork Lick districts petitioned the Virginia Assembly asking for the establishment of polling place closer to their homes.
