Lewis Miles GREEN was born on 13 Sep 1860 in Braxton Co., (W.) Virginia. He died on 8 Sep 1923. Charles Tunis DODRILL wrote of Lewis Miles GREEN that "...(h)e was a farmer and operated a custom coal mine located on his farm and supplied the citizens of the community with their winter's supply of domestic coal. He was the Class Leader of the local Methodist Church and one of its trustees. He took an active part in the local affairs of Glade District and was one of the trustees of the Wainville School before the county unit system of school management was established." He was married to Mary Ruhama DODRILL before 1884. Mary Ruhama DODRILL1 was born on 30 Nov 1865 in Poplar Creek of Birth River. She died on 26 Jan 1932. She was a daughter of Arthur Earl & Jane (HAMRICK) DODRILL. Mary was reputed to be one of the most beautiful young women in the Birth River area. After her marrage, she and her husband settled on Glade Run, a tributary of Laurel Creek of Elk river, near the village of Wainville, then called Beech Bottom. He died in Feb 1958. 7 vi. Ada GREEN was born on 15 Jan 1898. She died on 16 Apr 1928. 8 vii. Ernest GREEN was born on 16 Nov 1901. He died on 12 Feb 1925. 9 viii. Clyde GREEN was born on 28 Mar 1903. He died on 31 Jul 1934. +10 ix. Flora Myrtle GREEN. 11 x. Arland Preston GREEN was born on 23 Sep 1908. He died in 1941. SECOND GENERATION 2. Iva Archetta GREEN was born on 6 Sep 1926 in Erbacon, West Virginia. 10. Flora Myrtle GREEN was born on 12 Mar 1907 in Glade Run, Webster Co., W. Va.. She died on 23 Jan 1988 in Summersville, W. Va.. She was buried on 25 Jan 1988 in Green Cemetery, Glade Run West Virginia. She received her education in the Wainville public school. Flora was a lifelong resident of Webster County West Virginia and a housewife. She was for many years a member of the Wainville United Methodist Church and was the teacher of the adult Sunday School Class. She was married to Lawrence McClung WEESE on 15 Mar 1925 in Amos Run, Webster Co., West Virginia. Lawrence McClung WEESE3 was born on 20 Oct 1900 in Amos Run, Webster Co., West Virginia. He died on 19 Jul 1977 in Richwood, Nicholas Co., West Virginia. He was buried on 23 Jul 1977 in Green Cemetery, Glade Run West Virginia. He was a lifelong resident of Webster County and lived at Wainville. Lawrence was a coal miner. He was a member of the Wainville United Methodist Church and a Democrat. In 1948, Lawrence was elected to the Webster County Board of Education and served from 1949 to 1954. Flora Myrtle GREEN and Lawrence McClung WEESE had the following children: +21 i. Margaret Jewell WEESE. +22 ii. Robert Leo WEESE Sr.. 23 iii. Teddy Leon WEESE was born on 22 Dec 1930. He died on 20 Oct 1943. He was severly injured when the family home caught fire. He later died of these injuries. +24 iv. Betty Jean WEESE. 25 v. Ellis Ray WEESE was born on 20 Mar 1936. He died on 20 Jun 1943. He died when the family's home caught fire. Maxine Virginia GREEN was born on 18 Oct 1923 in Erbacon, West Virginia. She was married to Herman Thomas PERRINE (son of Thomas Marion PERRINE and Eliza DILLON) on 31 Mar 1942 in Wainville, Webster Co., W. Va.. Herman Thomas PERRINE4 was born on 26 Nov 1920 in Erbacon, Webster Co., West Virginia. He died on 27 May 1986 in Summersville, West Virginia. He was buried on 31 May 1986 in W. Va. Memorial Gardens, Calvin, West Virginia. He was a lifelong resident of Webster County, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. he was a conductor for the B & O Railroad, and attended the Church of thre Nazarene, in Craigsville. Margaret Jewell WEESE was born on 28 Sep 1925 in Amos Run, Webster Co., West Virginia. She was married to Herbert "Mack" WAYNE on 17 Nov 1945. Herbert "Mack" WAYNE5 was born on 12 Jul 1923 in Dink, Clay County W. Va.. He died on 17 Nov 1993 in Cowen, W. Va.. He was buried on 20 Nov 1993 in Mack Wayne Cemetery, Cowen W. Va.. Mack was a son of Curtis H. & Rhoda (MCLAUGHLIN) WAYNE. Mack was a lifelong resident of the Cowen area and was a coal miner. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. He was with the Allied Forces in the invasion of German Occupied Europe. He was buried on 17 Aug 1988 in Mac Wayne Cemetery. Bob lived most of his life in Webster County and was a coal miner. He received his education in the West Virginia public schools. Bob was a member and superintendent of the Wainville United Methodist Church. He belonged to the UMWA and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was married to Eula Naomi SIMS on 2 Apr 1948. Mary Ruth CARPENTER was born on 12 Mar 1954 in Sutton, Braxton Co., WV. She is the daughter of Dorsey Ray CARPENTER and Dolley Belle MALCOMB.She has worked as a nurse at Richwood since about 1990.
