RITTMAN -- Ralph L. Riggs, 78, died May 15, 2000, at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital. He was born in Ft. Gay, W. Va., and lived in Rittman since 1945. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, and worked at PCA, Ohio Match Co. and the College of Wooster. He was a deacon and founding member of the Ridgewood Baptist Church in Wadsworth. Surviving are his wife, Glyndyne; sons, Rodney (Ellie) of Burbank, Robert (Elizabeth) of Danville, Calif., Ross (Dr. Karin) of Louisville, and Richard (Susie) of Rittman; brothers, Rex (Pat) of Wooster and Charles (Nancy) of Hillsboro; sisters, Mrs. Vernon (Ruth) Clarke of Rittman and Mrs. Les (Thelma) Beeman of Haines City, Fla.; 14 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. Services at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ridgewood Baptist Church in Wadsworth. Rev. Steven D. Carter will officiate, with burial at Rittman Cemetery. Cecil C. ``Bud'' Mills Cecil C. ``Bud'' Mills, 65, passed away May 14, 2000. Mr. Mills was born in Belleville, W. Va., on April 19, 1935. He was formerly employed by Consolidated Freight-ways as a truck driver, and had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Portage Lakes Eagles, Akron Italian Club, Firestone V.F.W. Post 3383, Sons of Herman, Turkeyfoot Sportsman Club, Orioles, Army Navy, American Legion,, and the Concourse Club in Massillon. He is survived by sons, Fred ``Pete'' (Barb) Mills and David ``Bebop'' (Dorothy) Mills; daughters, Shirley ``Sissy''(Mike) Salberg; faithful partner, Donna ``Bubbles'' Wagner; sister, Shirley Armstrong; grandchildren, Julie and David Mills Jr; good friend, Ron Collins; and many members of the Wagner family. Va., he came to Akron as a small child and was a life resident of Akron most of his life. He owned and operated the Fred Pritchard Heating Co. for over 25 years, and was a longtime member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, where he was an usher, deacon, and elder. Mae (Jones) Williamson. He had lived in Tallmadge for 54 years and was retired as a pipefitter from Goodyear Aerospace with 28 years of service. He was a proud member of U.A.W. Local 856. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rilla M. (Wilson); sons and daughters-in-law, James (Sharon), William, Kenneth (Nancy), Donald (Sandra); grandchildren, Debra (Brett) Diethrich, Daniel, Regina, Kenneth (April), Raymond (Laura), Rick, Jerry, Donald, and Ted; great-grandchildren, Kyle and Kali Diethrich.
