Evelyn Campbell Orr, 85, of Frederick, Md., died Tuesday morning, May 23, 2000, at the Citizens Nursing Home. Born in Vindey, Md., on Dec. 29, 1914, Mrs. Orr was the daughter of the late Lewis and Ella Tasker Comp. Evelyn spent most of her life in Morgantown, W. Va., and later resided in Ohio until she moved to Maryland in 1995 to be near her family. Mrs. Orr was the wife for 43 years of the late Jason Kenneth Orr, who died in March 1995. Surviving are son, Donald Harrison Campbell, and wife, Patricia, of Frederick, Md.; brother, George Comp of Reedsville, W. Va.; grandchildren, Rebecca Tama and husband, Charles, of Frederick, Md., Wayne Blaney and wife, Deborah, of Cuyahoga Falls, Donald H. Campbell Jr. of Daytona Beach, Fla., Suzanne Campbell of Rockport, Mass.; great-granddaughters, Laura and Kelly; great-great-grandson, Andrew. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 27, 2000, at 10 a.m., at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, Md. Interment will be at North Lawn Memorial Gardens in Peninsula, Ohio, at a later date. There will be no hours of visitation at the funeral home.
