Arcola News Mrs. Walter Bogart has been in very poor health for several months and Mrs. Robert Tyler, who has been sick since last December, will go to a hospital soon. She was former postmaster here. Billie Bogart, who has worked in Chicago for the past two years, is home on a vacation. Arley Diehl, of Bergoo, who has been on sick leave and visiting with his parents here for some time, will soon return to his work. His health is much improved. Mrs. Clyde Weese is visiting with home folks, after spending a year in Butte, Montana, where her husband is stationed. Pfc. Leonard Tyler, who is stationed in North Caroline, is home on a furlough. Veon Tyler, Denzil Greene, Leroy Giles and other young folks are working in Clarksburg. Misses Lorent and Betty Tyler are attending college in Clarksburg. Misses Zana, Eva and Donna Diehl are home from Columbus, Ohio, where they have been working in the Curtis Wright airplane factory. Alvin Wright is erecting some buildings on his property here before going into training with the marines. Mrs. Hannah Waugh, who has lived in this neighborhood for many years, has moved to Cowen. Nearly all of the miners who worked for the Lilly Coal company here have moved to the new Kessler mine near Bolair.
