Hollie W. Davis, 90, passed away May 26, 2000. He was born Oct. 11, 1909, in Tazewell, Va. He attended the Barberton Apostolic Faith Assembly Church, and was retired from Babcock & Wilcox with 33 years of service. Preceded in death by his wife, Martha; and daughter, Joann, he is survived by son, Fred Davis; very special grandchildren, Kristi Paparone and Eric Davis, all of Akron; and four sisters. Va., he was a Uniontown resident since 1971, where he was owner-operator of a Gravely tractor business for 45 years. He was a member of Canton Masonic Lodge 60 F&AM. He is survived by his wife, Linda; special niece, Cathy; grandchildren, three brothers, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m., with a Masonic service at 5:45 p.m., at Hecker Funeral Home in Uniontown. Stucky, 84, of Navarre, died May 29, 2000, at Massillon Community Hospital, after a long illness. She was born Oct. 30, 1915, in Jacksonburg, W. Va., and lived most of her life in the Navarre area. She was a retired elementary teacher from the Massillon Public Schools, and had graduated from Akron University with a master's degree in education. She was a member of First Christian Church in Massillon, Massillon Woman's Club, Massillon Senior Center, and A.A.R.P. She was preceded in death by first husband, Robert Woodyard, in 1978; second husband, John H. Stucky, in 1988; parents, George and Bertha (Ott) Goodrich; three sisters, and two brothers. She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Paul (Sylvia) Kreiling of Massillon, Elaine S. Evans of Navarre; stepsons, John E. Stucky of Bolivar, Richard P. Stucky of Canton; four grandchildren, seven stepgrandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, nine stepgreat-grandchildren; sister, Gladys Warehime of Beach City. Funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Church, with Dr. Darrell C. Filler officiating. Interment at South Lawn Cemetery in Beach City.
