This is a survey of the oldest section of the cemetery, which comprises about half of the existing markers. This section of the cemetery has knee high to waist high grass growing in it, along with poison ivy etc. It is entirely possible that some stones may have been overlooked in the tall grass. Many graves are marked only by fieldstone, some are not marked at all. Many stones are very difficult to read, some are impossible. There is also the problem of transcribing from a tape recorder, names like 'Mary Ann' sound about the same as 'Marion'. For these reasons this list should not be considered reliable, it contains many errors which i hope to reduce by another visit to the cemetery before the final draft is made. If you have any questions (such as what type marker does my g-grandad John Smith have?) or corrections to this list let me know. Graves were recorded as i came to them, walking up and down the hill. Sometimes graves that are side by side are seperated by many names becaused i recorded one name on my way up the hill and recorded the other name on the way down.
