Jim, I did know many of the students on your Glade District Commencement Bulletin. It brought back a lot of memories. Some of those students went on to serve in WW11. Many of them are no longer living. It must be difficult for our young researchers to picture what it was like to be the only student in the eighth grade, but that was often the case in the rural areas of Webster. Transportation was still difficult in the 30's, and older children were kept at home to help with the farms. Many never went on to high school. This was the only bulletin their name appeared in, and the end of their schooling. Glancing down the list, I can tell you that a few did go on to college and went on to successful careers. Others were successful regardless of their lack of education. First and foremost, they were our Wonderful Webster People. Thanks so much for sharing, Lenore Radcliffe Yeager
