Va., on January 9, 1924, died on June 20, 2000, at his home. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Ruby (West) Starcher. Pappy is also survived by 10 children, 25 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and his sister, Ardilia Coen. He lived on Bilburston Road in Akron for 25 years. Pappy will be missed by his many friends in the Akron area. Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg, W. Va.
