LICK RUN NEWS Winter looked like it was about over but we shouldn't let old man weather fool us like that. Arnel Carpenter, of Cowger Hill, was a visitor at the home of Robert Cool, over the week end. Mrs. Frank and children were visiting her mother, Mrs. David Cowger, of Holly, recently. Miss Hilma Pugh, who is teaching our school, spent the week end with homefolks. Gatnel Riffle and Opal Cool visited Desta Smallwood, of Holly recently. Clyde Riffle who is employed by the Pardee & Curtin Coal Co. at Bergoo, returned to work Monday. Mrs. Lurany Riffle visited her daughter; Mrs. Fanny Fisher recently. Junior Simmons and Johnny Carpenter of Cowger Hill made a business trip through our burg Sunday.
