I was able to make a trip to the Hickman Cemetery today. Unfortuantely, I didn't get to record all the markers in the cemetery but I did manage to record these: Bennett, Charles H. 1948 - 1998 Wamsley, David M. 1982 - 1989 Wamsley, Bryan K 1969 - 1989 Wamsley, Amos D. Sr. 1920 - 1992 Bennett, Patricia Aug 28, 1954 - Jan 17, 1994 Bowers, Lee O. Jan 1, 1913 - Nov 14, 1962 Cole, William M. 1883 - 1975 Cole, Lydia Thomas 1886 - 1963 Thomas, Albert A. 1874 - 1947 Bowers, Larry Sep 30, 1953 - Sep 30, 1953 Bowers, Chester Jr. June 11, 1956 - June 11, 1956 Bowers, Chester A Feb 12, 1918 - Mar 4, 1984 Walker, Vanie Lewis Apr 6, 1941 - Apr 21, 1977 Walker, Estie July 28, 1905 - Aug 10, 1946 Walker, Ivan R. Aug 14, 1892 - Apr 16, 1972 WV Pvt. Co. E 111 Infantry WW I Christian, Estie L 1948 - 1948 Christian, Carrie Jane 1880 - 1964 Christian, Henry 1870 - 1942 dates hard to read Christian, C.H. (Kit) Jan 15, 1915 - May 21, 1932 It appears that there are alot of graves marked only with stakes and sawed-off fence posts. I didn't see any type of identification on these "markers". Does anyone recognize this VANIE LEWIS WALKER? I'm sure that he is connected to my Walkers but I don't know how. ESTIE WALKER is the wife of IVAN R. WALKER. Her maiden name is CHRISTIAN. I'm sure she is related to the Christians buried in this cemetery, I just don't know how. Cathy
