Edward R. Woods (Dick), 66, passed away June 20, 2000. Born in Diana, W. Va., he lived in the Akron area most of his life. Mr. Woods retired from Atlantic Foundry after 27 years of service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved gardening. Preceded in death by his parents, Victor R. and Lenore Woods and his two sisters, he will be sadly missed by his wife of 45 years, Nola G. Woods; and children, Ned (Linda) Gum, Marcheta (William) Fox, Towana (Mike) Flowers, Vickie (John) Sells, Danny (Mary) Woods, and Denise Woods; 14 grandchildren; brother, Gary Woods; sister, Karen Sue Rescoe; and many other relatives and friends.
