A large crowd attended the funeral of Mrs. Nancy E. Wilson, Sunday. She was the wife of the late Ami Wilson and the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas McBride. Mrs. Wilson, known to all as Aunt Esta, was born April 15th 1850, in Augusta county, Va. and died January 17th, 1946 at 7 p. m. at the home of her son, Arthur E. Wilson: Surviving are eight children, three dead and five living. The living are Mrs. Iva Harper, Cleveland; Mrs. Betty Hamrick, Webster Springs; Mrs. Fanny Sleeth, Troy; Lloyd E. Wilson, of Frenchton; and A. C. Wilson, of Cleveland. She had 46 grandchildren and 60 great grand children. Her funeral was conducted by Rev. Calvin McCray, of Clarksburg. The choir consisted of Cecil Myers, Mary Ruth Herron, Helena Anderson, Lonnie Bender, Hartzel Bender, and Ruby Bender. the Alkire funeral home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Opho Pickens made a business trip to Buckhannon today. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Anderson visited Mrs. Anderson's parents Sunday. Harley Bacorn has received his discharge from the Army and is at home with his family.
