B. Belle (Rockhold) Harman, 71, died at her residence June 9, 2000. Mrs. Harman was born in Guardian, W. Va., and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls since 1949, moving there from W. Virginia. She was owner-operator of The French Coffee Shop and was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lorin, and is survived by her sons, Donald D. Rockhold of Cuyahoga Falls and Frank W. Rockhold of Green; daughter, Cheryl A. Smith of Cuyahoga Falls; eight grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; and brothers, Walter Anderson of Gassaway, W. She was born November 23, 1915, in Kneeys Knob (Summers County), West Virginia, the daughter of Barm Webster and Lucy Rosetta (Pennington) Harrah. Va., to Milford and Mamie Morton. Fred graduated from Tallmadge High School in 1970. He joined the Air Force in 1972, and received an honorable discharge in 1974. He is survived by his parents, Milford and Mamie Morton of Tallmadge; sisters, Linda Forren (Harold) of Tallmadge and Carol Lloyd (Larry) of Wooster; stepdaughters, Michelle Waike and Tori Upright of Vancouver, Wash.; nieces, Theresa Snow, Michele Adams, Delaine Fabian, and Jaime Bowser; three great-nieces, and two great-nephews. Minnie ``Fae'' Thomas, 75, passed away June 8, 2000, at Altercare Nursing Home of Wadsworth after a long illness of Alzheimer's. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, they are together again, and also by her parents, Herbert Hupp and Elizabeth Honaker. Fae, a North Hill resident for most of her life, worked as a waitress/mixologist: always happy to serve her customers at some of Akron's finest houses for over 45 years. She had worked at Garden Grille, Cirillos, Iacomini's, La Hurds, Magic Inn, Sanginitis, Yankos, Marcels, Dilullos, The German-American Club, The Polish-American Club, and the Carovillese Club. She loved playing bingo and being with her friends at the Eagles Club and the American Legion Club. She was also a member of the URWA, AFL-CIO, and CLC Retirees Club. She will be sadly missed by her sons, Jimmie Lee (Connie), and David and special friend, Elaine; daughter, April Thomas Hull, all of Akron; seven grandchildren, Kim (Mark) Hinkle, Megan Thomas, Tyson Thomas, Judy (Brian) Speegle, David (Pam) Thomas, Bland (Karen) Thomas, and Billy Thomas; six great-grandchildren; Brittany, David, Clayton, Zachary Thomas, Joshua Hinkle, and Sebastian Speegle; stepfather, Harold Honaker of Akron; half-brother, Gettus (Betsy) Hupp of Marietta; and many relatives.
