One of the 11 children listed for Benjamin Hamrick and Nancy McMillian was a son, John, about whom little is known. I have information from Tressie Nealy that he was listed in the 1860 census in Greenbrier County, VA (now WV), as the father of Jonathan Hamrick. There also is a little information on Jonathan, the son, from J.R. McKinney. He appears to have been married to a Nancy Perkins and perhaps his second wife's name also was Nancy, though no last name is known for her. I also have little on the last son, Cyrus, except for his marriage and the names of his children ‹ nothing past that generation. Much is known about many of the others such as William, David and Benjamin but these are lesser known children of this Hamrick couple.
