My mother is Martha Gibson Clark. Her mother was Treacie Rogers Gibson. I think that Martha Coger that you have listed as being born in Braxton WVa is my great grandmother (maybe). If not, maybe you could help me figure out some info on who is! My great-grandmother was born Martha Armenta (we think). She married Curtis Rogers and had one child, Treacie Rogers. Then Curtis died (while Treacie was very young--possibly an infant or toddler). Martha then remarried a Cogar and had many children. I know that Martha was a midwife in Braxton and surrounding areas. Treacie was born in 1892 (I think--I don't have my files with me at this time). She married Frenchman Gibson and had 10 children (9 boys and my mom). I have only just begun my search but have stalled out on my great grandmother! Any help would be appreciated and I will keep you up on what I find if it's helpful!
