From: The Webster Echo, Feb. 5, 1904. ERBACON. Everybody is coughing. W. H. DeLung is clearing. R. M. Gross' family has scarlet fever. Jerome Luckey has moved to one of Waggy's camp houses. Wade Groves has moved into the "White House"on his new farm. A. N. Hines, teacher of the Missouri run school, is "measling" at Geo. A. Long's. A dynamite cap exploded in the stove at Waggy's store last week, puncturing Jerome Luckey's skin in about thirty places. Rev. C. N. Coffman, presiding elder of the M. E. Church, South preached several able sermons here last week to appreciable audiences. Nathan Barnett and Sylvester Jackson and son, Dick, of Braxton were visiting relatives here last week and attending to busiess matters. Glad to see the announcements of candidates appearing in the ECHO. "The early bird catches the worm." Of course the Executive Committee will give us a primary. As others are suggesting men for various offices, if not trampling upon the editor's rights, we suggest the name Eli Perrine for Commissioner of the County Court. We have not consulted Mr. Perrine, nor been "lectioneered by him.
