    1. [WVWEBSTE] Old War Picture of William Sylvester Arthur
    2. Faith Blount
    3. I have a picture of my grandfather's brother (born in 1888) The picture looks like he might be in his early 20's to early 30's. In the picture he has a military uniform on. On the back of the picture it says: La Mar Studios, Inc. I'm thinking this would have been from W.W.I. It states on the back of the picture if read correctly "Veteran at World War" He was from Webster Springs, Webster County, WV. What I am wondering, seeing as I can not find anywhere where this La Mar Studios would be located. Would anyone have a clue? Seeing as it was a service picture do they do this at a special place? If anyone can help, please reply to: blount@digital.net Thanks, Faith To e-mail me directly: blount@digital.net

    2. Faith Blount
    3. Anyone ever heard of Daniel Leander Arthur? I have proof of my ggrandfather being Lee Anderson Arthur according to death records, but... was told by a family member today that his daughter had written out this name along with his children and wife's name. So I am just checking all of my leads. b. 12Nov1863 d. 31Jan1946 It is also possible he is half Cherokee Indian. Could Leander be an original last name? That might have been changed to Arthur? These are just leads I am following up on. Thanks in advance for any help. Faith blount@digital.net
