I am looking for information on my grandfather's sisters. One of these women disapeared from the family and was never heard from again. It is believed that she was taken against her will. Unfortunately, I don't know which one it was. The family lived in Nicholas, Webster and Upshur Counties of West Virginia. They may have been in Clay County, WV as well. Daughters of Lewis Marshall Walker: Mary J. Walker b. Mar 1888 Nicholas Co possibly married Unknown Marks may have moved to Sand Run, Upshur Co. Laura B. Walker b. May 1890 Nicholas Co possibly married Unknown Lowe Eva Luana Walker b. Aug 1894 Nicholas Co possibly married Unknown Lowe husband may have been brother-in-law of Laura Falla Walker b. unknown Webster Co married Andy Doddrall don't believe this is the "lost" girl. Any information on thier marriage dates or death dates would be extremely helpful.

This is to introduce my wife, Mary Hamrick and I, Dan Hamrick, to the Webster County list. We also have recruited Mary's brother, Thamer Dodrill, of Ashland, KY. Hi Gang, Looking for information on my g-grandfather, Will (possibly William) Hicks - m. to Margaret Murphy. Margaret and Will had the following children: Henry; Blanche; Rosa Belle and Della Jane (my grandmother - m. to Noah Morgan Walter Cool - s/o Jefferson Davis Cool - s/o John Clifton Cool). The only info I have is that Will supposedly died March 17, 1916 in Nicholas Co., WV. Margaret & Will divorced abt. 1892 or 1893 - she remarried to a Mosa Threana in Braxton County, WV - 11-23-1894 and had 3 children: Okey; Alice and Grace.
