bj - Re: ARBOGAST family - ALLEN Arbogast is most likely s/o Soloman Arbogast; HEZEKIAH is DAVID HEZEKIAH Arbogast (b. 1852 and m. to Mary Frances Jordan 1st, and Margaret C. Life 2nd), s/o Allen and Mary Anderson Arbogast; SILAS Arbogast (the only one I have) b. 1847 and m. to Elvira M. Anderson (1843-1936), s/o Allen and Mary Anderson Arbogast. DAVID HEZEKIAH and SILAS are brothers, the sons of Allen and Mary Anderson Arbogast. Don't know how ALLEN (age 4l) fits into the picture. I am descended from Silas and Elvira M. Anderson Arbogast. I am also connected to the Ware's, McElwain's, Moore's, Anderson's, Talbert's, Everson's, Brannon's, Barnhouse's, to name a few. If I can be of any help just let me know. Linda [email protected] P.S. I was born in Webster Springs.

Is anyone related to the ADKINSON family? I am looking for information regarding Grallen, 27, and James, 51, who are listed living in the Glade District of Webster Co. in 1880. THANKS - bj
Does anyone know ho Jackson Adkin b. 1845 who married Eliza J. b. 1834? Updating my database and trying to tie together strays. bj
Remember Audrey Mace. Could she have been a sister to Velma? Audrey was a teacher who went to Glenville State Normal College with my Aunt Grace Brown. She later lived at Cherry Falls above Webster Springs. What were the names of Velma's younger sisters that you mentioned? May know them. Lenore Date: 05/29/1999 10:24:48 PM Eastern Daylight Time From: [email protected] (Brenda Ericsson) To: [email protected] Lenore, Thanks for the information. I am looking for info about my mother's graduation. She was b. in 1917 so I doubt that you would know her--Velma Mace. She graduated I think in 1935 from Cowen High. She has few memento's of her youth and I just hoped to find a yearbook, pictures, even a listing would do. She had younger siblings who graduated from Webster Schools, probably Webster High. You may have known some of them. Brenda --- >Brenda, >I'm unsure as to whether I answered your email about the Alumini Class of >1935. Is anyone out there going to the Webster County courthouse anytime soon? I won't be making a trip over that way until probably August as we are down in Alabama visiting children but I am interested in verifying some information I vaguely remember seeing in the birth record books on my last visit to WV. I am trying to find directions to the Dave Johns Cemetery. Don't know much, just that it is in Webster County somewhere, maybe near Cowen area. I've also been told that there is a cemetery at Tioga. Does anyone have directions to this cemetery or can give me any information on it? I'm trying to find the burial site of FLORENCE WRIGHT WALKER and her siblings. Thanks, Cathy
Something a bit exciting I had to share with ya'll. I just received a phone call from a woman who was a good friend my mother's and hadn't seen her, "Oh, in about 40 years or so." Someone had given her my phone number from my involvement here on the net doing genealogy, and she also had the number of another friend from Webster that my aunt has been looking for since about 1950. I'd placed a query here once about aunt Carol's friend. Well, she's been found! I just thought this whole thing really neat! All these people coming together after such a long period of time. Autumn
