OBITS. BIG SANDY NEWS, Louisa, KY. Wednesday, June 2, 1999. LUCIAN J. FRASHER 1912-1999 Lucian J. Frasher, 87, of Fort Gay, West Virginia, died Monday, May 31, in St. Marys Hospital. Mr. Frasher was born April 4, 1912, in Fort Gay, a son of the late Jay Frasher. He was a farmer, an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of Bartrams Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary L. Frasher of Fort Gay; two daughters, Linda Rose of Fort Gay and Karen Marcum of Michigan; one son, Randall J. Frasher of Fort Gay; two sisters, Wilma Ross Golf of Huntington, West Virginia, and Mary Elliot of wattsworth, Ohio; six step sisters, Wilma Wellman and Ramona Hatfield, both of Fort Gay, Elizabeth Ann Lambert of Mansfield, Ohio, Roberta Demalis of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Linda Stark of Huntington, and Ruth McCoy of Procterville, Ohio; two step brothers, Roy Michael Williams of Fort Gay, and Barry Allen Williams of Lawrenceville, Georgia; 11 grandchildren; six step grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and four step grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted by Reverend Willard Robertson, Wednesday (today), June 2, at 11 a.m. at Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Frasher Cemetery, Fort Gay.
