“OBITS. BIG SANDY NEWS. Wednesday, February 3, 1999. MARY VIOLA HOOLEY 1930-1999. Mry Viola Hooley, 68, of Louisa died Sunday, January 31. Mrs. Hooley was born September 5, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of the late Paul and Esta Sparks Ratliff. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Norman Hooley. She was a homemaker. Survivors include one daughter, Norma Jean Metz of Louisa; one son, Victor Hooley of Blaine; three brothers, Emmitt Ratliff and Silas Ratliff, both of Louisa, and John Ratliff of Titusville, Florida; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Kenneth Wright Wednesday (today), February 3 at 1 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, Louisa. Burial will be in Bowe Cemetery, Louisa.
