“OBITS. BIG SANDY NEWS. Wednesday, February 17, 1999. JACQUELINE JANE BALL 1926-1999. Jacqueline Jane Ball, 72, of Louisa died Tuesday, February 9 at Three Rivers Medical Center. Ms. Ball was born August 28, 1926 in Fallsburg, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Blaine G. Ball, Sr. and Martha Short Ball. She was a retired registered nurse, worked at Riverview Hospital; was a graduate of Louisa High School in 1944 and Ashland Junior College, attended Marshall College, Nazareth College and Bellemite College in Louisville, and graduated from Nazareth School of Nursing at St. Joseph Infirmary in Louisville in 1950. Survivors include one sister, Thelma Roberts of Louisa; one brother, Blaine G. Ball, Jr. of Louisa; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Paul Ray Diamond Friday, February 12 at Myrtle Chapel Church. Burial was in Short Cemetery, Louisa. Young Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.” Beverly L.
