Hi Everyone, The last time I was home, I spent a great deal of time researching in the Lawrence County Courthouse. While there I came across a huge book which contained the service record documents of LC World War I Soldiers. From this book I gathered much info to update my "Lawrence County Veterans World War I" web page which is on-line at: http://www.mindspring.com/~sixcatpack/wwi.htm However, I have come across conflicting information about the death date of Arlie B. MARTIN (b. May 18, 1896). "Lawrence County, KY Cemeteries Vol. 2" says he died Aug 3, 1949 and "Veterans Roll of Honor" says he died Nov 24, 1918. Can anyone tell me which is correct, please? In addition, I have come across these men who appear to have participated in WWI. I need your help in determining if any of them had been born, lived, died, or buried in Lawrence Co, KY so that I can add them to the veterans web page. Any insight you have on any of them will be appreciated! 1. HARDWICK, Edward b. unk d. unk buried Crum Cemetery 2. CHILDERS, Lawrence b. unk d. unk buried Mullins Cemetery Thanks so much for your help!! Beverly L.
