Hi Dan-----I was in WV last fall and went to the library in Huntington----they have Herald-Dispatch microfilms for many years back. I found my great great grandmother Louisa (Ferguson)(Jones) Adkins and my great grandfather Wattson Cornwell's obituaries there from 1941. I visited Wat's grave at Dock's Creek Cemetery---Louisa's death certificate says she was buried in Adkins Cemetery in Wayne County, and I didn't have time to locate it. I hope to make it up to Kenova and the surrounding areas again, maybe next year, to do some more research. I think I can find a lot more from the Herald-Dispatch microfilms. If I remember correctly, the records go back to 1925, but I am not sure. Happy hunting!
