Hi Everyone, I have just finished placing all of the names on-line for KENTUCKY Civil War soldiers buried in the Marietta National Cemetery at Marietta, Georgia. There will also be over 125+ photos of gravemarkers. Some of these photos are not very legible due to extreme wear on the marker and the bright sun at the time I took the photos. http://www.mindspring.com/~sixcatpack/marietta.htm If you requested a photo and it is not on-line, please let me know. Some photos did not turn out, and perhaps I can make another trip to take more photos. I hope this is helpful to some of you. Enjoy!! Beverly L. Hi Everyone, Today I uploaded some updates to the Confederate Cemetery (Marietta, GA) webpage. On this page I have listed the known Kentucky Confederate soldiers interred in this cemetery. Also, there are photos of this cemetery. I have also listed the names of soldiers whose units and/or states are unknown. Please take a look at this list, also, and if you perhaps know any of these soldiers let me know. If you know about any of these units please let me know, too. I will pass this information on to the authors of "Confederate Veterans Interred in the Confederate Cemetery, Marietta, Georgia," from which most of this information came.
