Hi Dan or I should say, cousin, Which of their children do you descend from? I am through Margarette, so I guess we are 1st cousins 2 or 3 x removed (or perhaps 2nd cousins, since I am not sure of your line). I wish I could help you but I don't know where they are buried. There are several Christian Cemeteries in Wayne, WV; but I couldn't find them listed. The Wayne Historical Society has a website and I will check later today to see if I can find them. It is quite possible that they were buried on family land and do not have markers. Margarette and John Wesley Booth are buried in Wayne, Ohio. Have you done DNA testing? I have through both Ancestry DNA and Family Tree DNA. It is quite fun to make connections. I have another question, Do you have any information on the parentage of Elizabeth Newton? I have her father as Thomas and Lucy, but I have nothing further back than that. There is a limit of 25 participants and a cost of $15 dollars, payable at the door, which includes a hotdog lunch. Volunteers will be on hand to help attendees with their research. The library is located in Huntington's Historic St. Cloud District.

Lawrence County Genealogy Society will be hosting Guest speaker Mark Morton, owner of the Gravestone Guardians of Ohio, at the Briggs Library 321 S. 4th St., Ironton, OH on May 4th at 1 p.m. It will be held in the 2nd floor conference room Subject will be on Tombstone Restoration & Preservation. Mark will walk the attendees through the complete restoration of an old forgotten cemetery in Belmont Co., Ohio. He will show the steps that were taken in bringing the cemetery back to the dignity that it deserved.
