    2. Shelley Cardiel via
    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Ruby Edith PICKETT which was taken at the H. Tomlonson Studio in Hannibal, MO. The photograph appears to have been taken in the early 1900's with Ruby just an infant at the time. In addition to her name, someone has written "To Granma WOOLFE" on the back of the photograph. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding Ruby and her family: Ruby Edith PICKETT was b. 28 May 1906 in Missouri to parents Elihu W. PICKETT (b. 1868 in Wayne Co. WV - d. 1941) and Rosa M. WOOLFE (1874-1952). Ruby had a sister, Mary Donia (b. 23 May 1901-d. 1984). Ruby married Hans Louis LARSEN (1896-1985) and together they had 4 children including, Ruby Rose LARSON (1929-2006); Mary LARSEN (b. 1931); and Hans Louis LARSEN (1936-1996). Ruby died 17 Sept 1999 in Petaluma, CA and is buried in the Cypress Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Petaluma, CA. Census records provide the following details: 1910 census of Hannibal, MO: E. W. PICKETT, age 38, married 11 years, born VA, parents born TN/VA, a Railroad Carpenter Rosa M. PICKETT, wife, age 35, married 11 years, 3 children/2 living, born MO, parents born OH/MO Dona PICKETT, dau, age 8, born MO Ruby E. PICKETT, dau, age 3, born MO 1920 census of Hannibal, MO: Elihu W. PICKETT, age 48, born VA, parents born AR/WV, a Railroad Shop Boilermaker Rosa PICKETT, wife, age 45, born MO, parents born OH/MO Ruby PICKETT, dau, age 13, born MO Lewis V. ROSS, son-in-law, age 26, born MO, parents born USA, a Shoe Factory Machine Operator Donia ROSS, dau, age 18, born MO, parents born VA/MO I am hoping to locate someone from this PICKETT Family so that the photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

    3. Hi Dan or I should say, cousin, Which of their children do you descend from? I am through Margarette, so I guess we are 1st cousins 2 or 3 x removed (or perhaps 2nd cousins, since I am not sure of your line). I wish I could help you but I don't know where they are buried. There are several Christian Cemeteries in Wayne, WV; but I couldn't find them listed. The Wayne Historical Society has a website and I will check later today to see if I can find them. It is quite possible that they were buried on family land and do not have markers. Margarette and John Wesley Booth are buried in Wayne, Ohio. Have you done DNA testing? I have through both Ancestry DNA and Family Tree DNA. It is quite fun to make connections. I have another question, Do you have any information on the parentage of Elizabeth Newton? I have her father as Thomas and Lucy, but I have nothing further back than that. Thanks for contacting me, Your cousin, Bonnie -----Original Message----- From: woolary Sent: Friday, May 23, 2014 3:13 PM To: wvwayne@rootsweb.com Subject: [WVWAYNE] Christian burials I am trying to find the burial site or sites for Henry Christian, born about 1836 and died about 1912. 3. I am trying to find the burial site or sites for Henry Christian, born about 1836 and died about 1912. He was the son of Alexander and Elizabeth Newton Christian.. Also looking for the burial of Henry Christian's wife, Rebeca Osborn, who was born August 18, 1838 and died October 13, 1892. Rebeca was the daughter of Thomas and Amelia Dean Christian. Henry and Rebeca Christian were my g-g-grandparents. Regards, Dan Woolary
