    3. Patricia: Thank you for the information on the marriage of Wm. Hyre and Birdie Dean. Page 138 of my copy of the marriage book didn't print right, and I couldn't quite make out what it said. I will just paste what you sent over top of that entry. The name Jenetta is a good clue that she was my William's mother. You don't see that too often, so I am going with that for now. Also what I was looking for when I sent the query was children of William and Birdie. I am very interested in them because I am related (distantly) to William Hyre on my mother's side, and Birdie (her mother was Sarah Kiddy whose marriage shows up in the Lewis County book for some reason or other) is my cousin on my father's side, so I am very interested in their children, but can't find any. I don't have the census for 1900, 1910, etc, and I suppose that is where they would appear. Do you have those records? I am glad of any information I can get and appreciate your help.
