Hi again, Kiddy, Did a little investigating and I think I've figured out that Samantha and Richard are 1 st cousins. Richard Phillips, b. 1802, MA, is the son of David Phillips and Anna Goodwin. I found Samantha in the IGI, b. 1796, to Elijah Phillips and Cynthia Goodwin. Now the rest I found in the Ancestral File (so could be some incorrect stuff) David and Elijah were brothers born to Phillip Phillips and Mercy. Let me know if this sounds like your family.
